📐 Base Requirements

📏 Exact base size required: 312 × 353.6 cm

This shed must be installed on a solid, level surface, such as:

• 🧱 Concrete pad (best option)

• 🪨 Paving slabs

• 🪵 Timber deck

🧱 Galvanised Metal Floor Frame – INCLUDED

This shed includes a FREE galvanised metal floor frame kit, providing a strong and stable structural base.

⚠️ Please note:

• The frame provides the structural support only

• A finished floor surface is still required

To complete the floor, you will need to source 18mm plywood or OSB sheets locally 🛒. Marine Plywood is best 
The sheeting sits directly on top of the metal frame.

✅ Using the included floor frame creates a stronger, drier, and warmer shed floor compared to installing the shed directly onto a hard surface.

🏠 Recommended Shed Base Types

🧱 Raised Concrete Base (Preferred)

A concrete pad built exactly to the footprint of the shed’s base rail provides the strongest and most durable installation.
Ideally, the base should be slightly raised above ground level to allow rainwater to drain away 🌧️➡️.

🔩 Position the shed on the base and securely screw-fix to the concrete.

🪨 Raised Paved Area

Use 600 × 600 mm smooth paving slabs, laid tightly together on a solid sub-base.
The shed base rail should be screw-fixed wherever it contacts a slab.

🏪 We recommend sourcing slabs from your local builders’ or hardware merchant.

🪵 Raised Timber Deck or Patio Area

Suitable provided the structure is:

• ✔️ Solid

• ✔️ Level

• ✔️ Capable of being securely screw-fixed

💧 Damp Proofing

Always install a DPM (Damp Proof Membrane) beneath your base to prevent rising damp and moisture ingress.

📍 Shed Position & Orientation

• 🌤️ Install in a dry, level area of your garden or yard

• ❌ Avoid soil, grass, loose stone, or tarmac

• 🌬️ Avoid doors facing prevailing south or westerly winds

• ⚖️ A level base ensures easy assembly and smooth door operation
