Flooring & Base Options

Base Preparation
- Prepare a level, raised base: concrete pad, paved area (600×600 mm slabs), or timber deck (shed footprint).
- Install a DPM (Damp Proof Membrane) beneath the base to prevent rising damp.
- Screw-fix the shed/floor frame to the base for stability.
- Avoid grass/soil/loose stone/tarmac bases; orient doors away from prevailing south-westerly winds.
