Menabo Cobra Plus 3 Bike Rear Carrier

The Menabo Cobra Plus is an excellent solution for motorists who want to transport multiple bicycles without fitting a towbar.
Designed and manufactured by Menabo in Italy, the Cobra Plus combines a strong steel structure with aluminium wheel channels to provide a robust yet practical bicycle transport system.
The carrier accommodates up to 3 bicycles, including up to 2 e-bikes, with a maximum combined bicycle weight of 45 kg.

Ideal for E-Bikes

Unlike many conventional rear-mounted bicycle carriers, the Cobra Plus has been designed with heavier modern bicycles in mind.
It can accommodate up to two electric bikes, making it particularly useful for couples or families travelling with a combination of conventional bicycles and e-bikes.
The maximum permitted bicycle load is 45 kg in total.

No Towbar Required

One of the major advantages of the Cobra Plus is that you do not need a towbar.
The carrier attaches securely to the rear of a compatible vehicle using Menabo’s strap fastening system.
This makes it an attractive alternative for vehicles where installing a towbar specifically for carrying bicycles would be expensive or inconvenient.

Steel Frame & Aluminium Channels

The Cobra Plus uses a strong steel frame combined with aluminium wheel channels.
The bicycle wheels sit securely in the channels and are held using sliding wheel-stop buckles, allowing the carrier to accommodate different bicycle sizes.
Frame-holder arms provide additional support for the bicycles during transport.

Absolute Gentleman to deal with who helped me install the roof rails and roof box on a scorching day- he even provided a bottle of water and an ice cream! Now that’s customer service! The product itself seems very sturdy and of good quality with the roof rails being suitable for different types of cars- there are adjustment settings on the roof rails and a measurement guide in the instructions which shows what setting the rails should be on for specific makes of car. I would highly recommend Coola living to anyone in the market for a quality and very well priced roof box and rails setup- Coola living were the cheapest new option I could find and the quality looks to be very good.
