Easy Assembly & Base Requirements

- Install your shed on a level, solid base of concrete, paving, or timber decking to ensure stability and smooth door operation.
- Concrete Base Size Required: 312 cm × 293.5 cm
Free Steel Floor Frame Kit Included
- Your shed includes a galvanised steel floor frame (free today only). It raises the floor slightly off the ground for a dryer, warmer and stronger foundation.
- For a solid floor surface, simply add 18 mm OSB or plywood boards (available locally).
- This provides an even, insulated floor – perfect for tools and equipment.
Recommended Base Options
- For best results, choose one of the following base types:
- 1. Raised Concrete Pad
- Match the pad to your shed footprint (312 × 293.5 cm).
- Slightly elevate it to allow rainwater drainage.
- Position your shed and screw-fix it securely to the pad.
- 2. Raised Paved Area
- Use 600 × 600 mm smooth paving slabs, fitted tightly together.
- Screw-fix the shed’s base rail to the slabs for extra strength.
- 3.Raised Timber Deck or Patio Platform
- Great for gardens or decked spaces.
- Always install a Damp Proof Membrane (DPM) under the base to prevent rising damp and protect the floor.
Shed Position & Orientation
- Choose a dry, level location away from grass, soil or loose stone.
- Avoid placing on tarmac, as it’s difficult to anchor.
- Face doors away from prevailing south-westerly winds.
- Ensure the base is perfectly level – this ensures doors open smoothly and align properly.
