A solid, perfectly level base is essential for easy assembly and long-term performance.

1. Recommended Base Types (for Screw-Fixing)

• Raised Concrete Pad
  Exact required size: 252 × 173.5 cm (matches metal base rail)

• Raised Paved Area
  Use 600×600 mm smooth paving slabs, tightly butted and level

• Raised Timber Deck or Raised Patio Area

👉 Always lay a DPM (Damp Proof Membrane) under any base to prevent rising damp.

2. Optional Metal Floor Frame Kit

We supply free of charge  an optional metal foundation floor kit suitable for all Duramax ECO & TOP sheds.

Why Add the Floor Kit?

• Creates a stronger, warmer, drier interior

• Provides a stable platform for a finished floor surface

3. Shed Positioning Tips

• Install on dry, level, solid ground

• Avoid placing over soil, grass, loose stone, or tarmac

• For best performance, avoid the doors facing south-westerly prevailing winds
